A Series of Society Camps To Uplift The Health Standards

Scientific Pathology, a trusted and renowned diagnostic service provider, has taken upon itself to bring a health wave to the society by organising Society Camps from time to time. In the recent past, it has organised several Society Camps in Agra. It has now moved further and is ready to organise Society Camps at Mathura, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Tundla and more places very soon.

At these Society Camps, people get twice the benefit - in the form of good health and savings. Good health by getting themselves diagnosed through 40 tests by a team of experts, and savings by getting all these tests done at just INR 599 only, which would have otherwise costed INR 3790. Following are the tests and screenings performed on each individual:

Complete Blood Count Profile (11 Tests)
Anemia Profile (10 Tests)
Kidney Function Profile (2 Tests)
Diabetes Screening Profile (1 Test)
Liver Function Profile (5 Tests)
Lipid Profile (7 Profile)
Thyroid Profile (2 Tests)
Arthritis Screening Profile (2 Tests)

One can get the latest information about the soon-to-be-conducted Society Camps on the official Facebook page, website and mobile application of Scientific Pathology.

Gear Up For a Happy, Healthy Spring Season!

The chirping of birds, the scuttling of squirrels, and the rustling of green leaves - sounds like everyone’s favourite time of the year is back - spring! But wait. What’s that noise? Is it a sniff? Is it a sneeze?

Sounds familiar? Don’t blame yourself. The changing season is not always so kind to the human immune system. All the flower pollen in the air is a cue for allergies to kick in and affect the upper respiratory system. A lot of renowned doctors, like Dr. Ashok Sharma from Scientific Pathology, are recommending due and timely precautions that one can take, and prevent this spring season from turning into a nightmare:

Start the day with Turmeric Milk

Turmeric has long been revered for its medicinal effects than just for its taste, and there’s a good reason for that - it has anti-microbial properties. When mixed with milk, it’s effects are enhanced manifold. It’s recommended to drink a glass of this medicinal beverage in the morning. It’s also helps fasten the healing process of the body.

Wash your hands regularly

The sharp changes in temperature can render the immune system weak, and even the slightest of contact with microbes and infections can trigger a flu. Doorknobs, laptop keyboards, and even smartphones are a hotbed for viruses and it’s advisable to wash hands regularly to reduce the risk of infection.

Add a liberal dose of Zinc to your diet

While Vitamin C is a proven name to counter flu and cold, you cannot underplay the importance of Zinc for the same. It helps strengthen the immune system when it needs it most, and is easily found in abundance in cereals, nuts, and vegetables like spinach and peas.

Go for Ginger

Another great addition to your diet comes in the form of the root called ginger. It is a natural immune booster, and it reduces the risk of catching a flu. Add it to your morning cup of tea, and use its paste liberally for all your dishes. It’ll make a huge improvement in your general health.

Drink loads of water

This one is a no-brainer. But yet, a lot of people neglect the positive impact of drinking water regularly. It prevents the growth of harmful microbes and helps wash away infections. So, no matter where you are, keep a bottle of water handy.

’Prevention is better than cure’ might be an overused adage, but then again, it’s always true. When in doubt, don’t hesitate to drop down for a checkup at a reputed diagnostic centre like Scientific Pathology, managed by Dr. Ashok Sharma. He brings with him decades worth of crucial experience and has provided healthcare expertise to countless people across India.
